Does AUXX need an account? +
No. AUXX is local-first. You can import, snip, loop, separate stems, and export without creating an account. An optional local profile lets you track practice stats across sessions on the same device.
Does stem separation upload my audio? +
No. Stem separation runs entirely on-device using an ONNX Demucs model. Your audio never leaves your phone.
What audio formats can I import? +
MP3, M4A, AAC, WAV, FLAC, OGG, AIFF, CAF, and more. AUXX also accepts audio files opened from the Files app or via share sheet.
Is it free? +
AUXX is free to download. Stem separation jobs use credits, which you can earn by watching a short rewarded ad (up to 5 per day). Practice features — looping, tuner, metronome, chords, lyrics — are free and unlimited.
Which devices are supported? +
iPhone and iPad (iOS 17+), Android (8.0+), and macOS. Stem separation is available on iOS and Android. Desktop and web builds use a mock ad flow for credits.
Can I export my loops? +
Yes. Render loops to WAV, M4A, or MP3, with an optional stem mix, and share them straight from the app.
